New Facebook Profile Page

Looks funky! Not sure what else you can do to it though.

Lazy or not?

Why do people wait 5 minutes for a tram then get off at the next stop to get to the train station? It's not raining either so why not just walk down the road?

First win for the Gunners

Stayed up to watch the game last night and while it was not totally convincing 3 points is 3 points so can't really complain. Arshavin took advantage of some comical error by the Swansea keeper but he did finish it from a very tight angle so it was not all based on luck.

Defensively it was quite a good performance by the Gunners and Mertesacker was quite a giant on his debut. Together with Koscielny I thought they did quite well. Gibbs though was a bit disappointing and I thought he got bumped off the ball a bit too easily at times.

In midfield Frimpong was quite impressive but he got tired and probably gave the ball away once too many times in the second half so got taken off. Arteta was impressive at times and linked up quite well with his new team mates. Arshavin I must say actually looked like the player when he first joined the team a couple of years back, lets hope he continue to play this way. Walcott was a bit disappointing and I'm not sure what he will do if he ever lose his pace.

RVP was unlucky not to score and Chamakh almost scored with one of his first touches. It was amusing when he came on and didn't have anyone to give the captain armband to so he kept it for the remainder of the game. It turned out to not be that great a deal but I think Arsenal needed a leader in the game as Swansea kept pushing towards the end.

As a newly promoted side I thought Swansea played really well and really gave Arsenal a fright especially towards the end. They have quite a few good players so good luck to them for the rest of the season.

Hopefully with Forehead (Gervinho) and Song coming back from suspension Arsenal will be a more efficient and dangerous unit. If they can get a few wins together in the coming weeks then maybe the season will be back on track and hopefully we might win something this year!

Google 2-Step Verification

Nothing is too secure nowadays on the Internet so Google has introduced 2-step verification on your Google account. The link will basically tell you what you need to do to set it up and to be honest it is pretty simple. It is a bit more troublesome initially because any device/program you have setup to access your Gmail or anything that uses your Google account will have to have its password changed (once only) but it's probably worth the hassle in the long run for the extra protection.

There is a phone app that generates a random access key when you login from a new/unknown location which works pretty much like the one you get from some of the banks. I used it today when I login to my account from work and I think unless you clear your browser cookies or authenticated sessions you can have the authentication stored for 30 days (I chose not to do this at work though since it's not really my laptop).

Blogger App on iOS

Typing this on the phone so let's test it out to see if it is any good.

The UI looks OK and it's pretty easy to use. Although I don't think it has access to my existing labels.

Now I can blog on the go, maybe can kill some time on the daily tram ride.

Blogger Gets New Look

Looks like Google is making everything look like Google+. It looks like it has even integrated it with Analytics, now you can get all kind of stats for your blog. Interestingly it looks like Google has been keeping tabs on your blog traffic from the start even though you may not have ready access to them (or at least I wasn't aware that you could gain access to it). I'll play with it some more when I have some spare time!

So much action

It was amazing to wake up to 5 new signings in 2 days. It was also great to hear we cut a few dead wood as well. However, we have also let go Bendtner, who himself thinks he is the greatest player ever lived. Sad that he only went out on loan, we might see him again next year. Anyway, well done Mr Wenger!
